Casares

The Casares region is made up of Casares Costa and Bahia de Casares which are both on the coast and Casares Pueblo, with it's impressive Moorish castle and stunning views,  is located 15 km inland from Estepona or 10 minutes drive from the apartment.  Casares is between Guadalhorce River and Mijas mountains and has become a prosperous agricultural area.  The main crops are citrus fruits (oranges and lemons) and it is also prolific in olive and almond trees.

 Puerto Duquesa

Just 5 minutes drive away from the apartment is this stunning marina with free parking and numerous good quality bars and restaurants (offering international cuisine eg spanish, English, Chinese, Thai and Indian) all reasonably priced in beautiful surroundings.

The local town of Sabillinas nearby also has plenty of restaurants and bars along the promenade.

 Casares del Sol Apartment

Take either of the Malaga to Algeciras roads, the coast road(called on various signs A7/N340/E15) or the toll road (AP7).  Both roads join at the Estepona bypass.  Take Exit 153, and follow slip road up to the roundabout, taking the A7 exit towards algeciras/Cadiz (not the Casares exit).  This takes you down to a further roundabout, back onto the (A7/N340) coast road westwards.  After Respol garage on the left side of the road, you will come to a roundabout with an Esso garage on the corner and a sign for the MA 546 Casares.  Take this exit on the right.  The site is approx 700 metres on the right hand side (Casares del Sol suites) directly opposite  Gardens del Golf.

Al Andalus Thalassa (Almeria - vera)

The resort has many facilities on site.  There is tennis, padel tennis, two outdoor pools an indoor pool , jacuzzi and Turkish bath, Sauna and a Gym.  There are a number of play areas and beautiful waterfalls and fountains along the walkways.  The resort is very secure.

Vera playa is a small seaside resort with beautiful sandy beaches, good restaurants and bars. There is also a bull ring in the town. The house is situated 2km from the extensive sandy beaches: Las Marinas, Puerto Laguna, Puerto Rey and the naturist beach of El Playazo. Within a few minutes drive there is an waterpark (Parque Acuatico), golf courses (Desert Springs), go-karting, tennis, horse riding, scuba diving and snorkelling. A short drive away there is a supermarket (consum) and various restaurants.
